Terms of Service

You must be at least 18 to order and must keep your login details secure. Information you provide — including vendor and rider application documents — must be accurate. We may suspend accounts used fraudulently or abusively.

Vendors set their own prices and menus. Delivery fees are calculated from distance and platform settings and shown before you pay. An order is confirmed once payment is successful and the vendor accepts it.

Payments are collected securely by our licensed payment partners or from your DEMU Wallet. Funds owed to vendors and riders are settled to their DEMU wallets after successful delivery, less the platform commission disclosed to them at onboarding.

Cancellation rights and refund timelines are set out in our Refund Policy, which forms part of these terms.

Vendors are responsible for product quality, licensing, food safety and accurate listings. Riders must hold valid documents and handle orders safely. Both are independent partners, not employees of DEMU.

DEMU is a marketplace connecting you with independent vendors and riders. Our liability is limited to the value of the affected order except where Nigerian law provides otherwise. These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
