Delivery Policy

DEMU currently serves Ughelli and surrounding communities in Delta State. Each store also sets its own delivery radius, so availability can differ between vendors. If your address falls outside the serviceable area, checkout will tell you before you pay.

Delivery fees are shown before payment and are calculated from distance and the platform base fee. Estimated delivery windows are guidance, not guarantees — weather, traffic and vendor preparation time affect them. You can follow your rider live on the order tracking screen.

Every delivery is completed with a 4-digit PIN from your order screen, plus a confirmation photo and, where captured, a signature and GPS location. Never share your PIN before your items are in your hands.

Riders wait up to 10 minutes and will call the number on the order. If the order cannot be handed over, it is returned to the vendor; perishable items may not be refundable in that case. See the Cancellation and Refund policies for the exact outcome.
