Cancellation Policy

You can cancel free of charge while the order is still pending or newly confirmed. Once the vendor has started preparing, cancellation is at the vendor's discretion because stock has been committed. Orders already picked up by a rider cannot be cancelled.

A vendor may reject an order before preparation if an item is out of stock or the store is closing. Repeated avoidable rejections affect a store's standing on DEMU.

DEMU support may cancel an order for suspected fraud, an undeliverable address, a payment that never cleared, or when no rider can complete the delivery.

When a paid order is cancelled, the full amount is credited to your DEMU Wallet automatically and recorded as a refund in your transaction history. You can spend it on your next order or withdraw it to your bank. Cash-on-delivery orders simply close with nothing owed.
