Acceptable Use Policy

Weapons and ammunition, illegal drugs, prescription-only medicines without a licensed pharmacist, counterfeit goods, stolen property, live animals, hazardous chemicals, tobacco or alcohol to anyone under 18, and anything unlawful in Nigeria may not be listed or delivered on DEMU.

One person, one account. Do not impersonate another business, share your login, scrape the platform, attempt to bypass payment or security controls, or use DEMU to launder funds. Vendor listings must describe the real product, price and weight being sold.

Chat between customers, vendors and riders is for order coordination only. Harassment, threats, hate speech, sexual content and sharing another person's private details are not tolerated.

We may hide a listing, suspend a store, pause a rider account or close a customer account for breaches of this policy. Serious breaches are reported to the relevant authorities. Appeals go to hello@shopdemu.com.
