Refund Policy
We want every DEMU order to arrive correct, hot and on time. When something goes wrong, here is exactly what happens.

Cancelling an order
You can cancel free of charge until the vendor starts preparing your order. Once preparation has started, cancellation is at the vendor's discretion because ingredients and stock have already been committed.
Automatic refunds
If an order is cancelled after payment, the full amount is credited back to your DEMU Wallet instantly and appears in your transaction history as a refund. Wallet balances can be spent on your next order or withdrawn to your bank account.
Missing, wrong or damaged items
Report the issue within 24 hours from the order page or through live chat. Our support team reviews it with the vendor and, where the claim is upheld, refunds the affected items to your wallet.
Failed deliveries
If no rider can complete your delivery, the order is cancelled and refunded in full, including the delivery fee.
Bank withdrawals
Withdrawals from your DEMU Wallet to a verified Nigerian bank account are typically settled within one business day.
